Denmark Hotel & River Rooms Motel

Please take time to read these terms and conditions for Denmark Hotel and provision of accommodation in general.

All bookings are made subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these Terms

and Conditions from the time of initiating the booking on behalf of all persons who will be staying at Denmark Hotel under the booking.

CHECK IN / CHECK-OUT

Standard check in time is 2:00pm.

If you wish to guarantee your ability to check in prior to 2:00pm you must book an additional nights stay and pay the applicable rate for that additional night.

Standard check-in time is indicated on booking confirmation.

You must advise us of any change in the number of persons using the room and agree to pay any additional charges for additional persons not included in the number stated at the time of booking

Standard check out time is 10:00am.

If you wish to check out later than the standard check-out time you must obtain approval from the property management at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled check-out time.

Property management may approve a request for late check-out in their absolute discretion.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Whilst Denmark Hotel attempts to satisfy all special requests, Denmark Hotel does not guarantee that special requests can be accommodated.

CANCELLATION

Cancellations may be made 24 hours prior to arrival with no charge incurred. Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival or no-show will be charged the total of the first nights’ accommodation. Cancellations cannot be made upon arrival. The Denmark Hotel does not issue refunds for early departures.

RATES & CHARGES

Valid Credit Card details are required on booking and a deposit of one night’s accommodation will be processed. Upon arrival, the balance of accommodation is payable. Photo ID must be supplied at this time. Some credit/debit card payments will incur a surcharge. Surcharges are as follows:

CHILD POLICY

For the purposes of this clause “child(ren)” means a person or persons aged between 2 years and 11 years; “infant” means a person or persons under the age of 2 years; and “adult” means a person aged over 18 years. All ages will be determined from the date in which accommodation commenced.

Children and infants may not stay in any room without an adult.

Additional charges will apply if extra beds or linen (including rollaway, sofa beds or cots) are required.

A responsible adult must accompany persons under the age of 18

FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Maximum number of guests in a room is four.

Lost room keys will incur a $25 replacement charge.

The Denmark Hotel does not allow animals or pets in any of our rooms except for service animals, and there is to be no cooking or smoking inside of the rooms. Smoking outside of the rooms is permissible. Smoking, cooking or allowing non-service animals into the rooms will occur a $140 additional cleaning fee.

The Denmark Hotel has a zero-tolerance policy on antisocial behaviour or behaviour that is deemed to be disruptive to other guests. This behaviour may be defined as:

  • Any situation where the maximum number of guests allowed per room is exceeded.
  • Any situation where the noise level from a guest room is deemed too high thereby disturbing other hotel guests.
  • Any situation whereby damage has occurred to property of the Denmark Hotel or to the property of any other hotel guests
  • Any situation where guests are acting in an aggressive manner.
  • Any situation where unlawful activities are taking place.

In the event that any guest is identified as having a party or displaying antisocial behaviour, the hotel reserves the right to immediately evict all occupants of the room up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the room.

In the event that an eviction does occur, the registered guest will be charged for that night’s accommodation. In the event of any damage incurred by guests, the registered guest will be charged the expense resulting from additional cleaning, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.

Denmark Hotel or its suppliers, employees and agents are not liable to hotel guests or any other person for any cost, loss, damage, injury or liability arising out of or in connection with the provision of our service or the use of our property.

USE OF INFORMATION

You consent and authorize Denmark Hotel to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purpose of administering your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking.

You consent to information that you have provided to Denmark Hotel as part of your booking being used by Denmark Hotel or any of their related bodies corporate for the purpose of informing you about offers and promotions that relate to Denmark Hotel or related bodies corporate.

Denmark Hotel will not provide or disclose any information you have provided to Denmark Hotel to any person other than a related body corporate without your written consent.

Upon request by you and to the extent permitted or required by law, Denmark Hotel will provide you with access to and/or the ability to correct any personal information however only the person who made the booking will be entitled to access and/or correct personal information pertaining to that booking.

GENERAL

If part or all of any clause of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to

ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible, it will be served from these Terms and Conditions and the

remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
